Can you give me the set up to turn this router into an access point. All the screens and the settings I need to input. It was working fine but I moved and the router was sitting for a month.

I set the IP address to 192.168.2.2 because it’s after my wired linksys router 192.168.2.1.

The ‘wireless’ light just keeps blinking and denies access to my devices even when I enter the correct password – namely my iPhone

    please help
Actually I found my wired router that has DHCP enabled set to 192.168.2.1, subnet 255.255.255.0 DNS to 192.168.1.1 and Starting IP at 192.168.2.100.

My airlink 101 wireless n router model AR670W has dhcp disabled; network mode to mixed n/b/g; wireless channel to 11 – 2.462 Ghz; security mode to WPA2-PK2; WPA to AES

What do you think is up?

hi laurance, sorry not to get back to you at the earliest.
Setting up the IP address is Ok, but i do not agree with the dhcp setting. Try the other way, turn-off the dhcp feature in the wired router because I do not see the function there except your linksys have some computers with wired connection direct to the EThernet ports of the router.
Turn on the dhcp feature in the airlink to provide wireless clients IP addresses. if you turn off the dhcp in the airlink, no other wireless devices will be able to connect to the airling network unless you provide static ip address to the wireless devices (computer with wifi or other wifi devices).

I believe that you have the installation guide with you

  • Effectively I arrived the following on another write-up but ended up staying for 20 minutes reading your stuff! Enjoyed it :-D
