Overview

Upgrading your old generation wireless G router to new Wireless N router would be wasteful unless you also upgrade your legacy wireless G clients to newest generation wireless N adapters. Should you replace your existing wireless G router with new Belkin N300 or Belkin N600 DB router, consider upgrading your legacy wireless clients with new generation of Belkin USB wireless adapters.

Options to upgrade

Mostly brand new laptops are equipped with new generation of wireless N adapters, you don’t need upgrading them. Many types of desktop computers are not equipped with the wireless adapters. Should require upgrading the Wi-Fi laptop to more flexible adapter, you can consider the dual band version of Belkin N600 DB. You can select the available band either 2.4GHz or 5GHz band your network can support. Should you upgrade your legacy router to new generation of Belkin N600 DB, then Belkin USB N600 DB would be your best choice for upgrading your laptops.
