CGD24N / CGE24N is an all-in-one device that has the functions of wireless –N access point, a router / firewall and a built-in Cable modem.

CGD24N / CGE24N is a Cable wireless router that supports both DOCSIS 2.0 and EuroDOCSIS 2.0 Cable modem, and combined with the high speed wireless –N access point to support up to 32 wireless clients. This Cable wireless router also supports 4-port 10/100 Mbps Switch with Auto-partitioning you can use to connect the computers using network cable (UTP) up to 253 wired connection with more switches addition. The good thing is that you don’t need to worry about providing the IP configurations to the computers (both on wired and wireless connection) manually. CGD24N / CGE24N supports DHCP server (enabled by default) which allows the router to provide the IP address configuration automatically to all the clients in the network.

CGD24N / CGE24N Cable wireless router also supports IPSec /PPTP VPN pass-through to create a secure tunnel via a public network (the internet) between remote sites. It is suitable for business network to connect to the remote branch offices securely using VPN tunnel. Besides, the router also supports the static and dynamic routing with TCP/IP. To add another layer of security, the modem is powered by the NAT and SPI firewall feature. NAT (network address translation) helps you hide the private network from the internet, while Stateful packet inspection (SPI) examines the incoming packets thoroughly for positive false packets.
