How Secure
The CradlePoint MBR1000 wireless mobile router supports dual-firewall feature (NAT and SPI). NAT (network address translation) allows internet share and helps hide your private network from the public (un-trusted network). NAT combined with SPI (stateful packet inspection) help protect the network against any types of internet threats such as hacker, DoS, and other malware.
MBR1000 provides additional security to allow you enable or disable SSID (Network Name) Broadcast and Internet Access Control (Services, URL, and MAC Filtering). Connection Diagram
The following is a simple connection diagram in a small business network that deploys CradlePoint MBR1000 wireless mobile router with broadband internet service as the main internet connection and 3g network plan as a backup or failback services when the main connection fails.
To access the router, you can type the default IP address of the router (192.168.0.1) from your internet browser, and the password is the six characters of your MAC address.
