D-Link DAP1513 is a dual band wireless media bridge that support either 2.4GHz or 5GHz band you can select to fit your requirement. For best performance in streaming HD video or gaming, you can select the media bridge to work in 5GHz band – a less interference band than the crowded 2.4GHz band. The DAP1513 includes four 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports you can connect up to four home entertainment devices (with Ethernet ready) to the wireless network easily to get internet access.
D-Link DAP1513 is a selectable dual band media bridge, and is ideal connecting to any wireless dual band router such as the latest generation of N600 routers including Linksys E3200 N600 router or WNDR3700 N600 router which supports simultaneous dual band technology. You can select the media-bridge to work in 5GHz band for better performance in streaming HD video and gaming.
Like other new generations of wireless routers, the media-bridge supports WPA/WPA2 wireless security encryption with WPS push button for easy configuration to connect to the routers with WPS enabled.
D-Link DAP1513 is a 4-port dual band wireless media bridge. You can also consider the Airstation WLI-TX4-AG300N which is also a dual band wireless media bridge with four Ethernet ports. For best performance, the WLI-TX4-AG300N can connect to the Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H which supports dual band simultaneous.

Setting up DAP-1513 can be connected as shown in the above diagram which uses DIR-645 whole home amplify router as the center of the network. DAP-1513 connects to HDTV, XBOX console and Blu-Ray player.
