With this Command Cloud technology, the complication of maintaining multiple access point devices in multiple locations was in the past.
This business class DAP-2555 access point supports dual band to work with mix wireless devices with either 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands. It is compliant with all devices with 802.11a/n/g/n standards. Installing the devices is easy and it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) to let you install the access point in area where power outlet is not available yet such as in ceilings.
Advanced Security
DAP-2555 dual band access point, like other wireless AP devices, supports the WPA/WPA2 security encryption either personal or enterprise. As an addition, it supports the Individual Device Authorization (IDA) which automatically identifies and secures each individual connected client on an individual basis.
For advanced authentication, DAP-2555 supports two-factor authentication a method of providing two independent identification methods such as using Token (which produces the synchronized key codes) for the addition of your normal password.
This DAP-2555 is a business class access point – for small to medium businesses which have multiple offices in different locations for easy management and installation and is beneficial for those businesses who implement two-factor authentication infrastructure.
