For wired connection, you can utilize the 4-port 10/100 Mbps LAN Switch of the router. Connect the desktop computer that is close to the router using the network cable (UTP) to the LAN Switch port of the router for fast wired connection.
Both wired and wireless connection of the client computers to the network require unique IP address configured. HAWNR1 Hi-Gain wireless-150n router includes the DHCP server feature that provides the IP address configuration automatically to all the computers on the network. With DHCP server, you don’t need to provide unique IP address manually each of the computers in the network. With this way, you can reduce the administration overhead in assigning the IP address manually if the number of client computers grows. The router can support up to 253 client computers to share a single broadband internet connection.
Advanced Security
HAWNR1 Hi-Gain wireless-150n router supports the latest wireless security (WPA/WPA2) and WEP for legacy client devices to help protect the data against any un-authorized access. Dual firewall feature (NAT and SPI) helps protect the network against any internet threats. Networking Solution
