Overview
While many wireless routers only provide one USB port to share a printer or disk storage, TRENDNET introduces wireless routers with two USB ports. Surely you can guess as to what for the two USB ports on the router nothing else but to allow you share storage and printer at the same time, no need to change the port if you want to change the printer or storage to be shared.
Have you ever experienced a malfunction USB cable because one strand cables inside the insulation is cut because it is frequently plugged and unplugged between storage and printer? So forget all the hassles of plugging and unplugging devices, use wireless router that comes with two USB. Consider TRENDnet TEW-673GRU.

High speeds
How wide bandwidth that you need to run some standard applications your computer? With some laptops and some Android and iOS mobile devices including iPad and other tablets, the width of 300Mbps bandwidth each band is sufficient.
Gaming laptop belonging to your boy run online gaming and other XBOX console with wireless dual band game adapter such as WNCE3001 operates in 5GHz band, while some Android tablets streaming video and surfing the internet, reading emails and other social networking activities, they all share total bandwidth up to 600Mbps is more than enough.
Is the fast Ethernet port on your desktop does not give you super fast performance? Replace it with gigabit NIC adapter and connect it to your router’s gigabit port then constraints to gigabit wired connection will solve your problem.
Twin USB ports
What I wonder is why the new generation of TRENDNET TEW-692 is not equipped with a USB port like the TEW-673 which comes with two USB ports? Too bad because many of the competitors in the N900 class routers come with 2 USB ports namely NWDR4500 by Netgear and RT-N66U black diamond series by Asus.
You can compare to other router such as Apple Airport Extreme that includes only one USB port to let you host either shared storage or shared printer. However, you can add a USB hub to let you host both shared storage and printer at the same time.
Network Connection Diagram
Generally the home wireless router diagram can be shown in the following figure.

Connect the WAN port of the router to the Ethernet port of the modem. Configuring the router is easy, but you need to connect a computer to the router using a network cable. You can use the default IP address of the router (192.168.10.1) type in your internet browser and press enter. The default user name is admin and the password is admin.

This is a great router. It is a nice replacement for my aging one.
