Tew630apb Wireless-N Access Point supports built-in DHCP Server and client and time server support. As a DHCP server, this Wireless Access Point Bridge provides the IP address leasing to the computers connecting to the network. With this DHCP server capability of the Access point, what you need to do for the computers connecting to the access point is to configure the TCP/IP property of the wireless adapter to obtain the IP address automatically.
TEW630APB Wireless Access Point Bridge provides High-Speed up to 300Mbps data rate using draft 2.0 802.11n connection for optimum throughput such as connect to TRENDnet PCI wireless adapter, and it can be compliant to other industrial wireless standards such as Rangeax Netgear USB Adapters. This Wireless Access Point Bridge is compatible with most OS such as Windows 95 /98 /NT /2000 /XP /2003 Server /Vista, Linux and Mac OS. In ideal condition, this Wireless Access Point Bridge provides coverage up to 150 meters (500ft.) Indoor deployment (depends on the environment) and coverage up to 400 meters (1300ft.) Outdoor deployment (depends on the environment).
How secure the wireless network
TEW630APB Wireless-N Access Point supports the latest wireless security feature Wi-Fi Protected Access – WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Encryptions for secure connection with other wireless adapters that support the same security features. For legacy wireless adapters, this access points supports 64/128-bit WEP (Hex). To filter the clients computers connect to the network, this access points supports MAC Address Filter (up to 16 entries) and SSID Broadcast Control.

This Wireless Access Point Bridge supports the 10/100 Ethernet port auto-senses half-duplex or full-duplex connection modes to provide a high-speed link to your existing wired network for connected wireless clients. Connect this Ethernet port to one of the LAN port of your existing LAN switch, and with an easy installation and configuration via a Web Interface, you will instantly provide a wireless environment to the existing network. TEW630APB Wireless-N Access Point supports the wireless access point mode and WDS Bridge (up to 6 units) mode.
