Belkin loyal users can now be happy with new Belkin’s introduction N900 DB simultaneous dual band gigabit router. What’s new with this new Belkin N900 router compared with the previous Belkin N750 dual band (DB)?

The model of the last generations of Belkin routers is more interesting than the previous generation. Designed with vertical form factor round oval and flat like a shell with glossy black finish looks classy and elegant decorate your room.

Better performance

In some of online retails Belkin N750 doesn’t receive many positive reviews from the users (averagely 3.2 out of five stars), even though it doesn’t reflect the actual performance of the product. Some reviews seem to be biased from its competitors.

Many users feel grateful to gear 2 USB ports which allow users to install storage and printer concurrently without changing the port. But, not many high performance wireless routers are equipped with two USB ports to host both printer and storage together. You can compare with Asus RT-N56U N600 dual band (Black diamond series) or the new Netgear WNDR45000 routers which also include two USB ports.

New high speed technology

The new technology improvements are the speed and the antenna technologies. Belkin N900 DB adopts new wireless 450Mbs each band both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, the ultimate speed in wireless technology with multiple spatial data streams to aggregate the bandwidth. The other thing is the number of internal antennas used. N900 DB includes 6 internal antennas while N750 DB includes only 5 antennas. Both routers use new Multi-beam antenna technology for optimized video streaming from multiple devices in larger homes, maximum data rate throughput and minimizing dead spots.

Even though the MSRP for both Belkin N900 and AC1200 are the same around $199.00, but in Amazon Belkin AC1200 is sold $30 cheaper than the N900 DB.
