Samsung N150 includes wireless b/g/n built-in with the motherborad, that should be no problem with the wifi. Your quote: "it will easily connect to a unsecured connection (with 2bars)and it wouldn’t connect to my connection where" - does it mean you can connect the router without the security setting, but you cannot connect with the security set?

with the netbook, is the wi-fi is built-in or usb adapter? built-in wifi is usually not much problem since the driver is integrated with the net-book system. I just wonder if the adapter driver is not correct, update the driver with current one from the internet and see if it fix the problem.

check also the ip address conf. run the "ipconfig /all" from the dos prompt and see if the configuration is correct. make sure the tcp/ip property to "obtain the ip address automatically"

check your router's dhcp server and see if the pool ip is enough.

Hi Frederick, can you ping the printer from the laptop? It's a dos command for example ping your_printer_name or ping the ip address of the printer for example from c:> command line type in ping 192.168.1.12 (assuming the printer ip address is 192.168.1.12.
The easiest way is to delete your current printer configuration on your laptop and start the 'Add Printer' wizard from the beginning (assuming that your printer is working all right from wired connection). identify what your printer_name is, and from the 'Add printer wizard' select the 'connect to this printer'.
The easier way is to browse the existing printer and then right click - select connect to this printer.

I don't necessarily have a strictly wireless network problem. I have two Laptops with a desktop computer forming a network. My wireless network works fine. That is to say, I am able to connect to and use the internet and send and receive email. The problem is this. Recently, the laptops stopped printing on a wireless basis. I am not too computer saavy and I'm reticent about 'messing around' too much because in the past I've done so and lost my network entirely.

Can you PLEASE advise me how to get my laptops print in a wireless mode again?

Sincerely,
Frederick Schrader
