Both routers are packed with concurrent dual band with speed up to 300Mbps each band with aggregate bandwidth of up to 600Mbps is ideal for your home multimedia wifi network including support for gigabit interfaces very stable for wired connections.

USB port

Completeness of USB port with DLNA certified media server support is very advantageous for seamless connection to other DLNA compliant devices including your home theater devices such as Blu-Ray, XBOX, HDTV and more. That’s what you get with Netgear, but Buffalo doesn’t support DLNA media server. Buffalo WZR-HP-AG-300H N600 supports NAS with easy management of the disk, shared folder, web access, media server and Bi-Torrent client.

Unfortunately you cannot host a USB printer but storage for shared across the network like Asus RTN56U or Belkin N600 DB.

Multiple SSIDs

The Netgear 3700 N600 supports guest network each band. Guest network allows you to create separate network (SSID) than yours with limited access to your network resources. You can grant Internet access to your guests without providing access right to your local network resources. But Buffalo AG-300H N600 is a bit difference; you can disable or enable multiple SSIDs with different security settings.

Guest network in Netgear 3700 would be better in securing your local network from being accessed by un-authorized users when you grant internet access to your guests. On the other hand, Buffalo AG-300H N600 with multiple SSIDs (up to three SSIDs) and with different security settings you can configure the clients to be able to connect to the internet but not to be able to communicate with each other.
